Summer & Short Term Program Dress Code

Wear any comfortable clothing that students can move in easily. Dance shoes are optional. Ballet intensives for Company and Junior Company require any color leotard and tights with ballet shoes. Skirts optional.

School Year Dress Code

Classes for younger students and all ballet students require color-coded leotards as shown below. More detailed information for appropriate attire for all classes is available on our Class Description page. Most required leotards, tights, and shoes are reasonably priced and in stock for purchase at the studio. You can also shop our Online Store to view the full dress code and purchase items that will ship to you or the studio for a small shipping charge. Purchasing dancewear through the studio or the online store ensures that your child will match others in their classes and will support our programs.

Class Uniforms for All Foundations through Level 1

Ballet students are required to purchase a uniform leotard from the studio to be used in performances. They can wear their uniform leotards or any other leotard in their level color along with pink tights and pink ballet shoes for weekly classes. Students of color are welcome to choose tights and ballet shoes that match their skin tone. For non-ballet weekly classes, any leotard or biketard in the level color is acceptable.

Ballet Class Uniform Leotards for Levels 2 & Up

We are excited to introduce new styles and colors of logoed uniforms for levels 2 and up ballet classes! Ballet students are required to purchase a uniform leotard from the studio to be used in performances. For weekly ballet classes, any leotard in the level color is acceptable. Students of color are welcome to choose tights and shoes that match their skin tone. For non-ballet weekly classes for Levels 2 and up, see class descriptions for dress codes. 

Recital Costumes

Each class's description lists which of the three types of costumes will be used, so you can take that into consideration when you make choices for your family.
