Classes for this age group are 30 minutes long and are stackable to build the combination that best fits your child for the minimum one hour of total class time. Bundles of classes will be offered back-to-back so that you can easily put together some of the most popular combinations. Or, you have the option of splitting classes on different days.

Description: A continuation of classical ballet training which focuses on technique and artistry. Dancers in Ballet III will continue to develop their strength and musicality while those in Ballet IV will focus on expression and exploration of different styles within classical ballet. Most female dancers will be en pointe and will be expected to take at least two ballet technique classes each week. Dancers will have the option of upper level ballet classes four nights each week, so there will be flexibility in the schedule. Dancers who do not wish to be en pointe have no required additional classes.

Open classes are basically classes that are open to everyone. Our open classes will be available to students as well as to parents and other adults in the community. Current students can drop in at no cost as an opportunity to expand their repertoire, practice skills in genres they are currently enrolled in, or just to take a class for fun. Adults can participate in open classes on a drop-in basis through purchasing a class pass. Class passes do not require the payment of registration fees. Open classes are designed for a range of levels, abilities, and ages, and these classes will not participate in the recital. Sometimes open class instructors will vary.
Description: A ballet technique class for all age and experience levels. Dancers will begin at the barre and continue through centre work. Instructor will introduce combinations, vocabulary, and ballet technique at an intermediate level with modifications for dancers to adjust to their own ability level. New dancers will begin to learn the basics while more advanced dancers will challenge themselves with increasing levels of intensity.
Dress Code: Any comfortable activewear is appropriate. Ballet shoes recommended.
Description: A tap technique class for all age and experience levels. Instructor will introduce tap steps, combinations, and vocabulary at an intermediate level with modifications for dancers to adjust to their own ability level through options for adding or removing sounds, turns, tricks, etc.
