Description: A developmentally appropriate introduction to the world of dance and tumbling. Children learn to engage with music, gain strength and coordination, and get familiar with the experience of a dance/tumbling class.
Girls Class Dress Code: Light pink leotards* and tights with pink ballet shoes. Students of color are welcome to choose tights to match their skin tone.

Dancers will become familiar with the structure of a classical ballet class and learn to express themselves through their musicality. Description: A mixed-age vocal music class incorporating music theory and vocal performance technique. Performers will gain confidence using their voices in a variety of musical styles while also exploring fundamental concepts of music composition and music theory.
Dress Code: Not applicable although students will be asked to remove their shoes to protect the dance floors.
Recital Costumes: Choir will have a separate costume for their recital performance, but we try to find affordable options such as jackets. Price to be determined but no more than the cost of a dance costume.
Students will be invited to Level 4 classes when instructors determine they are ready for our highest level classes. Not all students will move up to Level 4 when they reach high school, and they may note be at the same level for all classes they take.

Join our new teams for local performances through community organizations (i.e., Maple Leaf Festival, senior living centers, Baker University, Lumberyard Arts Center, Holiday Lights Parade, Library, etc.). Multi-team participation is encouraged! Costs will be limited to "uniforms" and tuition for a weekly class.
Dancers ages 8 & up will perform jazz, contemporary, and/or hip hop pieces for local community events.
Requires enrollment at least two technique classes (one must be ballet, contemporary, or jazz) in addition to the Dance Troupe weekly class.
Optional opportunities to participate in dance competitions are priced separately and require separate private lessons.
Tumblers ages 8 & up will perform with the Dance Troupe for local community events and participate in our annual tumbling meet with more opportunities to come.

Open classes are basically classes that are open to everyone. Our open classes will be available to students as well as to parents and other adults in the community. Current students can drop in at no cost as an opportunity to expand their repertoire, practice skills in genres they are currently enrolled in, or just to take a class for fun. Adults can participate in open classes on a drop-in basis through purchasing a class pass. Class passes do not require the payment of registration fees. Open classes are designed for a range of levels, abilities, and ages, and these classes will not participate in the recital. Sometimes open class instructors will vary.
Description: A ballet technique class for all age and experience levels. Dancers will begin at the barre and continue through centre work. Instructor will introduce combinations, vocabulary, and ballet technique at an intermediate level with modifications for dancers to adjust to their own ability level. New dancers will begin to learn the basics while more advanced dancers will challenge themselves with increasing levels of intensity.
Dress Code: Any comfortable activewear is appropriate. Ballet shoes recommended.
